Why a private catamaran in Cancun
A private catamaran in Cancun is the difference between sharing a 100-person tour boat and having the whole vessel for your group. With our private catamaran rental Cancun service you choose who comes aboard, what time you depart, where you snorkel and how the day flows — no fixed itinerary, no random tourists, no compromise on service.
Just your group
The entire catamaran is yours. Bring your family, your friends, your team — never strangers. The crew works exclusively for you the whole day.
All-inclusive transparent pricing
Captain, mate, snorkeling guide, open bar, hot buffet, snorkel gear, music — everything published upfront with real photos of all the experience.
Local operator
We as Private Catamaran Cancun own and operate some vessels. You talk directly to the people running the boats — same-day answers on WhatsApp, real flexibility, no middlemen in some boats.

Cancun catamaran tours, your way
Every Cancun catamaran tour we run is a private charter for your group only. Most departures leave from Marina Marazul on Avenida Puerto Juárez (Cancun’s left side of the bay), and the day usually combines all three of these spots:
Hotel Zone pickup
Round-trip transportation from your hotel lobby (extra cost). Small vans for couples, full buses for big groups.
Isla Mujeres catamaran tour
The most popular route — sailing across Bahía de Mujeres, snorkeling at the reef and beach time at Playa Norte.
Playa Norte beach club
Anchor offshore at one of the world’s top-ranked beaches. Some packages include beach club access with hammocks, lounge chairs and lunch buffet.

“Best day of our entire Cancun trip. We had the catamaran to ourselves, the crew was amazing, the food and drinks kept coming. The snorkeling at Isla Mujeres was unreal.”
“Eduardo planned everything via WhatsApp the night before. Showed up, got on the boat, perfect afternoon for our anniversary. Easiest booking experience we’ve ever had.”
“Booked The Mayan 55 for my bachelorette with 22 girls. 100% private, open bar, music on point, the captain even let us pick the playlist. We’re already planning our return.”
Everything you need to know
Is the Cancun catamaran really 100% private?
Yes. Every charter on this site is a fully private booking. The boat, the crew, and the day are entirely yours — we never combine groups. You decide the itinerary, the music and the pace.
What’s included in the Cancun catamaran charter price?
All catamarans include the captain, mate and snorkeling guide, open bar (rum, vodka, beer, tequila and mixers), a hot buffet served at a beach club in Isla Mujeres, snorkeling gear, and a sound system. Marina/dock fees are listed separately when applicable.
Where do we depart from?
Most charters leave from Puerto Juárez area, just minutes from the major resorts. Hotel pickup can be arranged — confirm via WhatsApp when you quote.
How many guests can I bring on a Cancun catamaran?
From 2 guests on a private celebration up to 300 guests on our biggest Cancun private catamaran tours. We’ll recommend the right boat based on your group size, occasion and budget.
How do I book a Cancun catamaran?
Send us a WhatsApp message with your group size and preferred date. We respond the same day with availability, exact pricing and an itinerary tailored to your group.
What’s the difference between a private catamaran and a regular tour boat?
A regular tour boat in Cancun packs 80–150 strangers together, runs a fixed itinerary and starts boarding at a pre-set time. A private catamaran in Cancun is rented for your group only — you set the departure time, the route and the music, and there are no other passengers on board. We only operate private charters.
How far in advance should I book my private catamaran charter in Cancun?
For high season (Dec–Apr, July, Easter, Thanksgiving) we recommend 2–4 weeks ahead because the most popular catamarans fill up fast. For low season, 3–7 days is usually fine. If you need a same-day quote, send us a WhatsApp — we frequently arrange charters with 24–48 h notice when boats are free.
What does a private catamaran charter in Cancun cost?
A private catamaran charter in Cancun starts at $1,050 USD for our 35 ft sailing catamaran (up to 14 guests) and goes up to $6,500 USD for the 63 ft Long Long Rider (up to 130 guests). Most mid-size charters for 30–75 guests fall between $1,500 and $3,300 USD. Every quote is fully transparent — open bar, buffet, snorkel gear, captain and crew are included; only the dock fee ($20 USD per person) is charged separately.
Where is the best place to snorkel on a Cancun catamaran tour?
The best snorkel spots on a Cancun catamaran tour are El Meco reef and the shallow reef offshore from Playa Norte at Isla Mujeres. Visibility is usually 10–20 m, water temperature stays between 25 and 28 °C year-round, and you’ll see parrotfish, angelfish, sergeant majors and the occasional barracuda. Our captains pick the best stop based on weather, current and where the water is calmest that day.
